About the Photographer

In my early years of photography, I spent much of my time exploring the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, bringing my camera along to capture unforgettable wildlife encounters and quiet moments in some of  America’s wildest places. After taking a break from photography to pursue graduate school, I resumed my career as a fisheries biologist in British Columbia—where I continue to explore and be inspired by Canada’s rugged and beautiful landscapes.

Photography remains a way for me to connect more deeply with the natural world and share those experiences with others. I hope the images here speak to you and offer a glimpse into the incredible gifts our wild and public lands have to offer. Thanks for visiting!
